Sarah and Stephen, a couple that were completely foreign to me upon showing up at their apartment early in the morning on what looked to be a rainy Saturday. After the initial awkward camera in your face back and forth, it became super natural to float around the two of them and go with the flow for the rest of this awesome day. The rain let up just as we arrived at the Spanish Steps in D.C. for the ceremony, rich in Irish music and great send off, followed by a group walk through the heart of the city down to the rustic/modern Irongate Restaurant for a chill lunch and afternoon before their departure. These are two great people that I am happy to know and really glad I got a chance to capture their wedding day. Tough to put this set into word context, but their day felt textural, tactile, and very laid back, rich in color but very cool. Congrats again to the both of you, sorry for the delay, and here’s to your many more years to come!
